Splashtop Integration

Every time your technician needs to remote into a device, they open Splashtop, track down the right machine, then switch back to the ticket to log what they did — context switching that quietly drains productivity. We've built a native Splashtop integration so your team can start remote sessions directly from ALVAO, without ever leaving the tool.

What is it?​

Built for IT support technicians, the integration brings Splashtop remote access right into ALVAO — both from Service Desk tickets (for attended sessions with end users) and from Asset Management device details (for unattended access to servers and shared devices). Every session stays in context: linked to the ticket or asset it belongs to, with session details logged automatically.

Where does it help?​

1. Remote support for SW incident analysis​

Situation: An employee submits a ticket about a software issue. Technician starts solving the ticket and needs to remote in to investigate. What you do: Click the remote session button directly inside the ticket. ALVAO creates a Splashtop attended session and automatically sends the access link to the employee — no copy-pasting, no tool switching. What you gain: The technician resolves the issue without ever leaving ALVAO, and session details are logged in the ticket automatically. Full context, full audit trail..

2. Unattended access for server or shared PC straight from the asset detail​

Situation: You need to perform maintenance or troubleshooting directly on a server, shared PC, or kiosk — no one needs to be on the other end. What you do: Open the asset detail in ALVAO Asset Management and launch an unattended remote session directly from there. No approval or end-user interaction required. What you gain: Immediate access to the device, with the session linked to the asset record. Maintenance is faster, and every action is traceable.

3. Always know which Splashtop device matches which asset​

Situation: A technician wants to verify that the device in ALVAO actually matches what's registered in Splashtop before connecting — especially in environments with many similar machines. What you do: Open the asset detail — the Splashtop device identifier (name or ID) is displayed right there, and you can jump directly to the device in Splashtop with one click. What you gain: Confidence you're connecting to the right machine, with zero manual cross-referencing between systems.
